We hope you are loving each piece from 1842 Boutique, but in the case that you need to return an item please read the instructions below. We are here to make sure you are happy with every purchase.
WE OFFER STORE CREDIT FOR RETURNS. WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS.
We are a small business with inventory that changes daily. We understand that it may be challenging to order boutique brands online, but we are available for any questions you may have. Store credit will be issued via an e-gift card and emailed to you using the email address you provided on the initial order.
HOW DO I INITIATE A RETURN?
Items Not Returnable:
Items that are not in new condition, tags MUST be attached and able to be resold. If any sign of wear, odor or stains are present, the return will not be accepted.
CLEARANCE ITEMS, DOORBUSTERS, AND DEAL OF THE DAY ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE, AND ARE CONSIDERED FINAL SALE. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

The Packing Slip for your return must be included along with the items you have been authorized to return. Additional items that are not listed on the Return Packing Slip will not be eligible for a return. You must contact us via email to initiate a return before mailing anything back to us.- We only offer STORE CREDIT for returns. We do not issue refunds back to your method of payment.
- The amount of your Store Credit is only for the item(s) you purchased and does not include the shipping.
- Merchandise must be returned within 14 days of the shipment date.
- Merchandise must be unwashed and unworn with tags attached
- Shoes must be unworn and free of any scuffs or marks inside and the bottom.
- Store credit cannot be applied to a future purchase until the return is processed and an e-gift card has been emailed to you.
- If an item is Ineligible for a return and it is included, we will have to send back the Ineligible Item to you and you WILL PAY RETURN SHIPPING OR THE ITEM WILL BE DONATED.
- ALL CLEARANCE, DOORBUSTERS, AND DEAL OF THE DAY ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE AND NOT RETURNABLE!
- Select Accessories are FINAL SALE and NOT eligible for returns. These accessories include: Hair Accessories, Jewelry & Hats.
- Please allow 1-4 business days for return processing.
- Once your return is processed, we will email you an E-Gift Card with your store credit that you can use on the website or in-store.
- Store Credit does not expire.
AFTERPAY/SEZZLE
- Afterpay/Sezzle purchases are subject to our standard return policy of Store Credit Only for items returned within 14 days of fulfillment.
If you've returned your order - partial or full - and you haven't completed all of your Afterpay or Sezzle installments, then you will continue to pay off those installments until they are complete for the full purchase amount and you will receive an E-Gift Card for the full amount of the item(s) being returned. PLEASE NOTE ABOVE, YOU WILL MAKE ALL 4 PAYMENTS BEFORE THE STORE CREDIT WILL BE EMAILED. - Please Note that Gift Cards, International Orders and Orders that fall below $35 and above $1,500 DO NOT qualify for Afterpay or Sezzle Payments.
